No reports of casualties of mainland tourists
Most travel agencies and local tourism authorities on Chinese mainland report no casualties of mainland tourists in Taiwan 10 hours after a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck Kaohsiung at 03:57 am Beijing Time on Saturday.
China International Travel Service, BTG International Travel & Tours and Qunaer.com said all of their tourists in Taiwan were safe, while China Travel Service is making every effort to contact all of its branch companies to get the latest updates on its clients in Taiwan.
Provincial tourism bureaus from Guangdong, Sichuan and Hubei said all their tour groups in Taiwan were OK, while Jilin provincial tourism bureau is checking the status of its residents in Taiwan.
