John Woo: Completed in Venice
During the 67th Venice Film Festival in 2010, Hong Kong director John Woo took home the Lifetime Achievement Award. During a press conference, Woo thanked his mother for introducing him to the world of cinema. "When I showed some interest in films, she said to me, 'If you like it, then do it.'" Woo also said the award opened a new chapter to his career.
