Zhang Yimou, a Chinese film director who directed the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games' opening and closing ceremony, was appointed by Dankook University in South Korea as a visiting professor. According to the spokesperson at the university, Zhang gives lectures twice a year to students on campus about "literature, film and culture".
