Zhang Tielin, a Chinese actor who later obtained the British nationality, best known for portraying the Emperor Qianlong (1735-1799) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in the first two seasons of Chinese television series My Fair Princess, was appointed by Jinan University in southern China's Guangdong province as the president of the School of Art in early 2005.
