HONG KONG - Hong Kong's Chief Executive C Y Leung met visiting Governor of Heilongjiang province Lu Hao at the Government House to exchange views on issues of mutual concern, the city government's news website said Tuesday.
Leung said that Heilongjiang possesses great development potential in commerce and trade and Hong Kong has established a close working relationship with northeastern province over the years.
He said Hong Kong has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and talents in service industries and could share its experience with Heilongjiang in pushing forward the development of modern service industries.
Leung expressed the hope that Hong Kong and Heilongjiang could make use of the opportunities brought about by the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement to continue to deepen the exchanges in trade between the two places.
