Wuhan punishes 31 for breaking fireworks rule

Thirty-one people were punished for breaking rules, introduced a month ago, concerning fireworks in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, cnr.cn reported on Wednesday.
The city issued the newly revised fireworks safety regulation on Dec 9, 2013. Seven downtown districts banned fireworks and other districts restricted them.
Police found 31 people in the city broke the regulation by illegally discharging and storing fireworks.
Two people out of the 31 were detained by police for 5 days and the others were fined up to 500 yuan ($80).Related Stories
