As many people are concerned, Tibet is a holy and mysterious place. Every mountain in Tibet is a sacred mountain, and every lake has a legend. However, what makes Tibet more different is that most people there are believers of Tibetan Buddhism.

Spirit travel of a city artist in Tibet

Living a fast-paced life in Chengdu, capital city of Southwest China's Sichuan province, Li Zhaoxia found many youths in China have no belief, and that is why she started her travel to Tibet, to seek and experience the power of belief.

Until today, the first visit to Tibet was still impressive to Li Zhaoxia.

"When the train is approaching Tibet, vast mountain ranges and golden rape flowers leap into my eyes. The beauty, magnificence of Tibet is really amazing and breath-taking," said she.

Arriving in Tibet, Li Zhaoxia rushed to the Drepung Monastery just before dawn to celebrate the Buddha painting unfolding ceremony. Even if it was very early for Li Zhaoxia to get there, there had already been thousands of people flooding to the Drepung Monastery from all sides to pay pilgrimage to the Buddha. Be a worshipper or not, one can strongly feel the Tibetan people's devotion to Buddha at that moment.

"You can see the calmness from the eyes of Tibetan Buddhism believers. We take the Buddhism as a mysterious holy belief. However, the Tibetan people pay pilgrimage to Buddha naturally like having dinner and breathing," said Li Zhaoxia.
