Accidents on specialized equipment claim 12 lives

Accidents involving specialized equipment, including elevators and cranes, claimed 12 lives and injured 21 others in July, the top inspection authority said on Wednesday.
Seventeen accidents occurred in July, including six involving elevators, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a news statement.
The number of accidents in July was 22.7 percent less than the same period last year and fatalities decreased by 53.8 percent.
