China will take measures to assist Good Samaritans who are suffering from a shortage of housing, chinanews.com reported on Thursday.

The ideas on strengthening the protection of Good Samaritans was contained in a document drafted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and other departments, and was approved by the State Council on Thursday.

The document stressed that governments at different levels should actively solve the problem of housing difficulties suffered by Good Samaritans with low and middle-level family income.
