One person was killed when a road collapsed, taking a car down with it in Central China's Hunan province on Thursday.
The cave-in happened in the middle section of Xiangjiang Road near the Xiangjiang River in Changsha, capital of Hunan, in the early morning, according to Xinhua News Agency. It caused a deep pit that measured about 30 square meters at the top. A large underground project was under construction near the site of the accident.
The fire brigades attended and police directed traffic flow to prevent congestion.
