China's tax revenue up 6.6% in 2015

BEIJING -- China collected 11.06 trillion yuan ($1.69 trillion) in taxes in 2015, up 6.6 percent year-on-year, new data showed on Sunday.
The growth pace was in line with overall economic growth last year, according to the State Administration of Taxation.
Tax collected from tertiary industry accounted for 54.8 percent of the total, up 1.3 percentage points from the previous year and 9.7 percentage points higher than the secondary sector.
The growth rate in tax collected from the tertiary sector was 7.6 percent, 5.5 percentage points higher than the secondary sector.
Modern commerce service sectors developed healthily last year, especially software and IT technology services.
