Beijing's land revenue is expected to be 18.5 billion yuan ($2.92 billion) in September, exceeding the amount in the first half of the year, a report from Centaline China said on Wednesday.
The capital city received 11.87 billion yuan from selling land parcels from Sept 21 to 27, compared with 14.5 billion yuan in the first half of 2012, according to data from the research department of Centaline, a Hong Kong-based real estate service provider.
But three land parcels still remain to be sold in September, indicating that land sales income in the month will probably reach a record high in 2012, according to the report.
