ROK military fires warning shots at DPRK drone in border area

SEOUL - The Republic of Korea's military fired warning shots at a drone flying across the border from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Yonhap news agency reported Wednesday.
The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the DPRK was detected at around 2:10 pm local time (0510 GMT) near the ROK's Dorasan observation post (OP) in the western inter-Korean land border, according to Yonhap.
The drone returned back to the north after warning shots.
