Germany will not join military action against Syria

BERLIN - Germany has no plans to join military actions against Syria, a government spokesman said Friday.
Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle also told local media that Germany would not be in a military strike against the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad and the country had not been asked to participate in such an action.
