Pakistan successfully test-fires long-distance missile

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan successfully test-fired its self-developed Hataf-7 cruise missile on Thursday morning, the army said.

According to an army statement, the Hataf-7 cruise missile, Babur, was tested successfully from all points of view. The surface-to-surface missile can hit any target within the rage of 600 kilometers.

It said the missile tests are part of a process of validating the system and Babur can carry strategic and conventional warheads and has stealth capabilities.
