ROK, DPRK to hold military talks on Feb 8

SEOUL - South Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will hold working-level military talks on February 8, Seoul's Yonhap News Agency reported Tuesday, citing military officials.

The DPRK sent a message to the South's defense ministry earlier in the day, proposing to hold working-level military talks on February 8, and South Korea accepted the request, according to Yonhap.

The meeting will take place at the truce village of Panmunjom and is aimed at setting the date, place and agenda for high-level military dialogue.
