Iran invites ambassadors to tour nuclear sites

VIENNA - Iran has sent invitations to several ambassadors accredited to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to visit its nuclear sites.
An AP report said Tuesday that "Russia, China, the European Union and its allies among the Arab and developing world" were invited. Other reports said the group of nonaligned nations at the IAEA was also among the invited.
The United States was excluded from the tour.
Senior Iranian envoy Ali Asghar Soltanieh suggested January 15 and 16 for the tour, according to a letter made available to AP. The invitations was contained in the letter.
No other details on which nuclear facility will be visited were given.
