Aircraft missing after take-off in West Japan

Osaka, Japan - A small aircraft with two crew members has gone missing after leaving the Kumamoto Airport in western Japan shortly after 5 pm Monday, the Kyodo News reported.

The aircraft disappeared from radar over Kikuchi, Kumamoto, northeast of the Kumamoto Airport, the report said, adding that local police were searching for it.
