0The mayor of Los Angeles described President Xi Jinping as "a man of the people" following a meeting in Beijing on Tuesday with the Chinese leader during which both men discussed developing stronger relations between the United States and China.
Antonio Villaraigosa, the mayor, met Xi ahead of his scheduled meeting with US President Barack Obama in California on June 7 and 8.
