China's National Art Museum opened the doors to "Introspection", an exhibit of sculptures and jewelry, on March 1.
The Moroccan artist, Fathiya Tahiri, said expression through her work is vital. The passion and power with which she works are evident in the details of her art.
Tahiri discovered her talents as a child. At 18, she traveled to Paris to study architecture and became familiar with local artists, galleries and museums. After spending some time as an architect, she began creating sculptures and jewelry.
The Shanghai Art Museum invited Tahiri to exhibit her work in April 2011.
