An 86-year-old man purchased a small island and spent years turning into a habitable residence. He's surrounded by nothing but beautiful beaches, pristine ocean water and and tall trees. Though his is the only house on the island, he’s not exactly living alone.

A professor in the United States wrote a book proposing that we change the way we think about parking lots. Car parks, as they're called in other parts of the world, are too big; they're like huge concrete deserts. He thinks they should be more beautiful and environmentally friendly. But if you ask me, it's not the parking lots that are the problem. It’s the drivers.

A US man was charged with felony assault this week after holding another man at gunpoint and demanding that he do the moonwalk. When criminals make demands, they usually hold something for "ransom".
