Heavy snow, icy rain wreck havoc in South China

Boats are covered by heavy snow beside the Xiangjiang River in Changsha, Hunan province Jan 22, 2011. According to the provincial information office, a blizzard starting from Jan 17 has affected most areas in the province, affecting 9.92 million people and 515,000 hectares of farm crops and causing damages to 37,969 houses as of Friday morning.
