The St. Regis Beijing welcomed the holiday season with their 13th Annual Christmas at the St. Regis Garden, marked the beginning of its Christmas and New Year Celebration.

The United State Ambassador to China Mr. Gary Locke and his wife Ms. Liu Meng, together with Mr. Qianhongshan, Chairman of Beijing International Club and Mr. Yngvar Stray, the General Manager and more than 500 hundreds guest celebrated the yuletide season with Gluehwein, hot chocolate, Turkeys and holiday desserts.

Began with speeches by Ambassador Locke, Mr. Qian and Mr.Stray, they lit the Christmas tree together. There came a warm cheer from the audiences afterwards and followed by the Children Choirs’ sweet songs while Santa Claus made an appearance carrying gifts to the children to commemorate the start of the Christmas season.

Continued the tree lighting tradition for 13 years since the outdoor celebrating was firstly introduced in town by The St. Regis Beijing, in 1998. The hotel will present a variety of events full of melodious bravura and creative imaginations in hopes of bringing impressive and extravagant festivals fantasy.
