Shanghai Museum presents an exhibition of calligraphy from Japan titled The Vision and Calligraphy of Aoyama San'u. Aoyama (1912-1993) started to collect Chinese calligraphy and painting probably in the mid-1920s. The exhibition consists of two parts: One featuring his collection of Chinese art and the other his own calligraphy.

The opening exhibition of Long's Art Space features the contemporary art collection of Artron.com. The website has been a leading player in documenting the happenings and market phenomena in the Chinese art scene.

Sandy Lam will hold a concert for her Shanghai fans. Lam has been active in the music scene since the mid-1980s, singing in Mandarin, Cantonese, English and Japanese. Her golden hits include Home Again Without You in 1991, Scars in 1995, and At Least I Still Have You in 2000.
