Miranda Kerr says she couldn't have given birth without husband Orlando Bloom.
The Victoria's Secret model welcomed baby son Flynn into the world on January 6 and while the labour was tough, Miranda was grateful her spouse was by her side supporting her.
She said: "I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him."
Miranda, 27, admits she and 33-year-old Orlando - who she married in July 2010 after a short engagement - are besotted with their son, who weighed 9lb 12oz.
She wrote in her blog for the KORA Organics website: "We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine. Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts."
Little Flynn's arrival has thrilled all of Miranda and Orlando's family with the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star's mother Sonia Bloom recently saying she is "buzzing with happiness".
She said: "It's fantastic news. I'm a grandmother for the first time and I couldn't be any happier. It's a baby boy and we are all just over the moon.
"Miranda did fantastically and is doing very well now. She and Orlando are delighted. It's just brilliant news and I am on cloud nine. We are all just so happy and everything has gone so smoothly. I'm buzzing with happiness. It's fantastic."
