Taylor Lautner's friends predict romance will grow

Taylor Lautner's new romance is continuing to grow.

The 18-year-old hunk has been quietly dating 21-year-old actress Lily Collins - whose father is 'In The Air Tonight' singer Phil Collins - for several months and though it is still early days between the two, pals expect their relationship to progress when they begin promoting their new movie 'Abduction' together.

A source told gossip website PopEater: "They appear to be seeing each other, but it's too early to see what will happen because they are both young. They make a cute couple. Once 'Abduction' is released this fall, they will be spending even more time together promoting it."

Though they have not yet confirmed their relationship, Taylor reportedly met Lily's hard-to-please father late last year and was delighted to get the seal of approval.

A source said in November: "Phil is pretty tough on the guys Lily introduces him to. But they got along well."

The pair were first romantically linked in July, when it was reported Taylor had seduced his co-star on the set of 'Abduction' by "constantly flashing his shirtless six pack," despite her having a boyfriend.

A source said at the time: "Lily told pals that she wasn't looking to fall in love, but soon realised she had strong romantic feelings.

"Taylor was smitten from day one, but Lily let him know she was in a relationship with a stuntman who was working on a Steven Spielberg movie in New Mexico. When the boyfriend got suspicious because Lily didn't return calls promptly, he hopped a plane and turned up unannounced to confront her."
