Tennessee rockers Kings of Leon have had to cancel a London show Tuesday after a tour bus fire at the O2 arena, venue owners AEG said.
The arena in southeast London did not suffer any damage, but there was not sufficient time to rig it for the performance and a new date will be announced shortly, AEG said.
"Unfortunately, due to this morning's fire on board one of the tour buses at The O2, tonight's Kings of Leon concert will now be postponed," AEG said in a statement.
Around 60 firefighters and 12 fire engines had to deal with what the London Fire Brigade described as "challenging conditions" as smoke billowed from the vicinity of the white-domed concert and events venue by the River Thames in southeast London, the Guardian newspaper reported.
Ambulance staff treated six people for smoke inhalation, but none needed hospital treatment.
