Christina Aguilera full of pride for son

Christina Aguilera "beams with pride" every day because of her two-year-old son Max.

The 'Burlesque' star - who recently split with Max's father Jordan Bratman after nearly five years of marriage - loves being a mother and enjoys the "little things" they do together as well as regular trips to Disneyland.

She said: "Being a parent allows you to beam with pride on a daily basis. Even the little things bring us so much joy . like singing as I put Max to bed or going trick-or-treating and seeing Max dress up on Halloween.

"Max and I go to Disneyland often. It really is the happiest place on earth."

Family is very important to the 29-year-old star, and she enjoys spending time with her mother.

She said: "I go home to Pennsylvania a lot to see my mom and brother. There is no place like home. It means the world to me to have such a supportive family."

Christina recently revealed her split from Jordan was because she was hunting for "spontaneity" in her life.

She told America's OK! magazine: "My life is cyclical. I'm not a nine-to-five woman who has the same kind of lifestyle for years on end. I couldn't do it. I need the spontaneity, that thrill of change. That's part of how I get inspired."
