China-EU e-gov't forum to boost efficiency

As part of the China-EU Forum, the e-government forum, organized by the Chinese Academy of Governance on Tuesday in Beijing, reached a consensus that the new service will promote the efficiency of governments through exchanges.
At the forum, held under the theme of governmental management in the era of digitalization, 350 delegates from China and the European Union discussed government service and public involvement, and the impact of e-government on the innovation of governmental management.
"The e-government service was created during the boom period of the information technologies. The new way helps establish a modernized management and China will contribute more of its efforts to improve services," He Jiacheng, CAG's executive deputy president, said at the opening ceremony.
