New students arrive to register for NYU Shanghai on Aug 11, a campus jointly sponsored by the East China Normal University (ECNU) and New York University, the third degree campus worldwide. The registration site is located at the Shanghai-based ECNU, where students will study for a year before moving to the new campus scheduled to finish construction in 2014 in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. The university, which opens this summer, has recruited 150 mainland students through interview and 2013 national entrance exam results, and 150 students from more than 40 countries approved by the New York University as its first patch of students.[Photo/CFP]
