A man held an 18-year-old woman chained inside a makeshift cellar for 11 days where she was repeatedly raped until she escaped using nail clippers, Qianjiang Evening News reported Tuesday.

On the evening of June 12, he picked up the woman on his tricycle in front of a local KTV club before driving away.
Police say the woman was then bound, gagged and threatened with a knife and electric baton being forced into Chen's makeshift hole in the ground where she was repeatedly assaulted.
Over 11 days, while suffering horrific abuse, the woman slowly cut through the chains with the a pair of nail clippers and called for help through a window.
Residents called the police who ended her life in hell.
The hole beside Chen's bed led to a cellar of 3 meters long, 1 meter wide and 1.5 meters high. The cellar has a blanket, a lamp and a fan inside.
Guo was chained naked in the cellar, but was allowed to bath outside the hole twice, according to Chen's statement to the police.
He raped the girl several times threatening her with death or taking naked photos to shame her.
Chen said his crime was inspired by online novels.
