Shanghai GM may get new chief

Ye Yongming, new chief general manager of Shanghai GM

 

With the approval of the Shanghai municipal government, Ding Lei, vice president of the Shanghai Automotive Industrial Corporation (SAIC) and chief general manager of Shanghai GM, will leave Shanghai GM and step in as board chairman of the Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park Development Company, the 21st Century Business Herald reported Tuesday.

SAIC Vice President Ye Yongming will take over as the new chief general manager of Shanghai GM, the newspaper said.

SAIC and Shanghai GM both refused to disclose details on the matter.
