Chinese farmers battle against drought
Farmers pump water from a river to irrigate their wheat fields which have been ravaged by the lingering drought in Nanyang village in Jishan county, North China's Shanxi province, Feb 14, 2011. The county government organized eight anti-drought teams equipped with 280 officials and technicians and 30 trucks to help local farmers' wheat crops survive the drought.
