Chinese state councilor condemns Moscow bombing

MOSCOW - China condemned the terrorist attack at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport that killed 35 on Monday, visiting Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo said on Tuesday.

"We have learned that a terrorist attack occurred at the Domodedovo Airport yesterday. We are simply shocked by this news. We condemn this terrorist attack," Dai said when meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

During their meeting, Dai and Lavrov exchanged opinions on bilateral ties, regional situation and issues concerning the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and others.

Dai met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and participated in the fifth round strategic security talks with Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev on Monday.
