Urban residents' per capita income grows 7.8% in 2010

BEIJING - The per capita income of China's urban residents grew 7.8 percent in 2010 from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said at a press conference Thursday.

Meanwhile, the per capita income for rural residents rose 10.9 percent year on year, according to the NBS.
