Studying hard in basement room

Huang Jing, a young woman who is preparing for her postgraduate entrance exam, lives in a basement room of three square meters, sina.com.cn reported.

Her goal is to get into the editing and publishing major at Beijing Normal University. Her whole life is preparing for the exam. She lives near Capital University of Economics and Business. "I can read my books in the classrooms there," Huang said.

Huang has been in Beijing for five years. Before 2010, she studied on her own and got a graduate certificate of adult education.
