A photo of students attending a ceremony, hold kickstands of a set at their high school in cold winds was uploaded to a micro blog, Guangzhou Daily reported.

The high school is located in Lantian county, Shaanxi province. On Dec 7, a cold windy day, when the ceremony was interrupted by the wind, some students were asked to help hold up the kickstands of a set for the project ceremony.

Many netizens criticized the school for caring more about the ceremony and officials than the students.

The school said it was just trying to prevent the set from being blown down by the strong winds.
