Mine flooding traps at least 7 in central China

CHANGSHA- At least seven miners were trapped in a flooded colliery in Xiangtan City in central China's Hunan Province, local authorities said early Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday in Yide Coal Mine in Xiangtan County of Xiangtan City, a spokesman with the county government told Xinhua.
No further details are available and rescue work is underway.
