14 Chinese on Fortune's 50 most powerful women list

Fourteen Chinese businesswomen made it into the Fortune magazine's latest list of the 50 Most Powerful Women released on Monday.
Dong Mingzhu, CEO of China's largest air conditioning manufacturer Gree Electric Appliances Inc, ranks 11th on the list.
Wang Fengying, CEO and executive director of car manufacturer Great Wall Motor, is on 12th spot and Li Dang, president and director of State-owned conglomerate China General Technology, occupies the 13th rank.
Others on the list are Lucy Peng, CEO of Ant Financial, the financial arm of ecommerce giant Alibaba Group; Rose Lee Wai Mun, vice-chair and CEO of Hong Kong-based Hang Seng Bank; Wu Yajun, chair of real estate developer Longfor Properties; and Wei Sun Christianson, co-CEO of Morgan Stanley Asia-Pacific and CEO of Morgan Stanley China, ranking 16th, 17th, 26th, and 31th respectively.
Maggie Wei Wu, CFO of Alibaba Group; Jennifer Li, CFO of Baidu Inc; and Rachel Duan, senior vice-president of General Electric, and CEO and president of GE China, take the 32th, 34th and 35th places respectively.
Jean Liu, president of ride-hailing company Didi Chuxing, secures the 36th place, followed by Tsai (Patty) Pei-Chun, CEO of Taiwan-based Pou Cheng Group; and Sun Yafang, chairwoman of Shenzhen-based technology giant Huawei Technologies.
Zhou Qunfei, CEO and founder of touch-screen maker Lens Technology, is on the 48th place.
