The cars were produced between Oct 5, 2007, and Nov 4, 2010, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in a statement.

The statement said the defective transfer case may result in oil leaks that cause the car's brakes to fail.

The company will check and repair the recalled cars.
