China's disciplinary inspection and supervision organs launched a nationwide campaign, starting from the fourth quarter of 2008, to check the implementation of the country's 4 trillion yuan ($604 billion) stimulus plan.

The plan was introduced in late 2008 to boost domestic demand in response to international crisis.

A total of 314 cases were registered, and the investigations of 291 cases were concluded as of the end of August 2010.
