Chinese software industry revenue in Nov surges 30.7%

BEIJING - China's software industry revenue rose 30.7 percent year-on-year to 117.8 billion yuan ($17.78 billion) in November, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) said Wednesday.

The November figure took the software industry's revenue in the first 11 months to 1.21 trillion yuan ($182.3 billion), up 30 percent over the same period last year.

According to the MIIT, Chinese exports of software products in the first 11 months rose 26.9 percent year-on-year to $21.3 billion.
