Guangzhou Auto to consider A-share listing in 2011

GUANGZHOU - Hong Kong-listed Guangzhou Automobile Group Co Ltd (GAC), China's No 6 domestic automaker, is considering an A-share listing next year, Reuters reported Monday, citing GAC's president.

"We will consider listing A shares next year and this was one of our goals when we listed in Hong Kong in August," Zeng Qinghong, the company's president, told reporters at an auto show in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, the report said.

The company also planned to increase production capacity to three million vehicles a year by 2015 and was targeting total sales of 400 billion yuan ($59.9 billion) in 2015, up from estimated sales of more than 150 billion yuan for this year, Zeng said.
