Sinopec starts natural gas exploration in Sichuan

China Petroleum & Chemical Corp started exploring for natural gas in southeastern Sichuan province, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing the company's newsletter.

The exploration, covering 1,000 sq km, will be completed by the first half of 2011, it said.
