Senior CPC official to attend China-Russia media forum

BEIJING - Senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Liu Qibao will travel to St.Petersburg of Russia to attend a China-Russia media forum.
Liu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, will deliver a keynote speech at the forum slated for Thursday.
Liu is also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
Leaders of some Chinese and Russian departments and media organizations will also attend the forum, which will witness a signing ceremony on media cooperation.
The forum will discuss how to promote international communications in the era of all media with subtopics on media role in integrating the two countries' development strategies and new media exchanges and cooperation.
