Eight properties in one Beijing community were put on sale at one time by a single property owner at a price ranging from 1.2 million yuan to 1.3 million yuan ($181,000 to $196,000) through an agent outlet, the Beijing Evening News reported Wednesday, citing a property agent.

The property owner has already sold five or six apartments in the first half of 2010, the newspaper quoted the agent as saying.

All the apartment properties, 45 square meters each, are in a community in the eastern part of Beijing, which are believed to have been bought at prices from 5,000 yuan to 7,000 yuan per square meter. The average selling price of the eight properties now being resold is about 27,000 yuan per square meter, which might result in a profit of 7 million yuan, said the report.
