As more and more Chinese visit Britain for tourism, study and business, the Chinese embassy in London launched a special website which provides all kinds of information for them.

The website (http://www.chinesejourney2uk.cn/) provides comprehensive information about British sightseeing, life, study, investment and British tradition and food as well, aiming to help Chinese citizens understand the life in Britain comprehensively and systematically.

Political, economic and cultural exchanges between China and the UK are increasing and deepening, with increasing numbers of Chinese citizens coming to the UK, Liu Xiaoming, Chinese Ambassador to Britain, said at the website launching ceremony on Thursday.

Last month, Liu said, China and Britain declared that the two will build a Global Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for the 21st Century, opening the" golden age" of bilateral relations during President Xi Jinping's state visit to Britain.

As the bilateral trade, economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation will further strengthen, more Chinese citizens will visit Britain, Liu added.

"The guide website not only conforms to the new development of China-UK relations, but also satisfies with the needs of the bilateral exchanges between the two countries," Liu said.

The guide website contains lots of detailed information about British customs declaration, transportation, healthcare, banking, communications services, accommodation guide, recreational activities, climate, environment, travel, leisure and how to apply for school and work, how to apply for visa.

Chinese people can read information and also comment on the website, but also interact through the guide's WeChat platform.
