SHIJIAZHUANG, China - China's 2002 World Cup goalkeeper Jiang Jin served out a 57-month sentence and was released on Tuesday.

Jiang, who guarded the Chinese goal at the country's only appearance at the World Cup finals, was sentenced to 66 months in 2012 after he was convicted of taking bribes for fixing games in the 2003 Chinese league.

Jiang had his sentence reduced by eight months for good behavior.
