The "Ode to the Communist Party of China (CPC)" Red Text Messages Competition recently concluded with an awards ceremony in Beijing.

The competition attracted 2.8 million participants from all over China. Their ages range from 18 to 97. They submitted 3.1 million text messages.

Six organizations inaugurated the competition in June 2011 to mark the 90th anniversary of the CPC's founding. They include the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, People.com.cn and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
