Shanghai Cartoon exhibition, Paris

Shanghai is the birthplace of the first Chinese animated films and this exhibition brings together the "yesterday" and "today" of these landmark cartoons. The use of different animation techniques reflects the rich history and remarkable growth of Shanghai's animated films.

The Business Chinese Speech Contest,

London

The contest is aimed to facilitate the learning and teaching of Chinese language, to enhance the understanding of modern Chinese businesses and Chinese culture and to encourage business and cultural exchanges all in an effort to promote mutual understanding between China and Europe.

Call of the Wild, Cambridge

This exhibition presents traditional Chinese paintings by Professor Ji Guoqiang from Xi'an Fine Arts Academy. To record the traditions and cultures of disappearing ethnic minorities, the artist took time off from his teaching schedule to travel the plains and mountains of several provinces and regions in China.

On Top of Two Empires, Rome

This is the first exhibition of Xu Longsen's Landscape Painting Exhibition Tour in Europe. His huge ink and pen works will be continued to be shown in October and December this year at the Museum of the University of London, and in 2012 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Lille, France. Xu is a legend in the Chinese art circle and his art works are famous for the combination of being huge in size and displaying fine ink and pen technique.
